Peer Helpers

West Smiths Station Elementary School Peer Helpers 

The Peer Helper Program at West Smiths Station Elementary empowers a diverse group of students to serve as positive role models, peer supporters, and school ambassadors. Selected through a formal application process, Peer Helpers assist classmates in need, support school events, and welcome new students through guided tours. 

Participation in the program is based on an application process for students in grades 3-5. Interested students must submit a written application, which is carefully reviewed by the program coordinator in collaboration with faculty members. These students exemplify respect, responsibility, and compassion. Their leadership strengthens our school culture by promoting kindness, connection, and a sense of belonging for all.
