Title I

What is Title I?

Our school is a Title I school, which means we receive federal funding to support the academic achievement of all students. Title I is part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of family income, has access to a high-quality education.

How does Title I benefit our students?

  • Provides additional support staff and teachers to deliver small-group instruction and targeted interventions

  • Funds academic resources, materials, and technology to enhance learning

  • Offers tutoring, enrichment programs, and summer learning opportunities to help students meet grade-level expectations
