Title I
What is Title I?
Our school is a Title I school, which means we receive federal funding to support the academic achievement of all students. Title I is part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of family income, has access to a high-quality education.
How does Title I benefit our students?
-
Provides additional support staff and teachers to deliver small-group instruction and targeted interventions
-
Funds academic resources, materials, and technology to enhance learning
-
Offers tutoring, enrichment programs, and summer learning opportunities to help students meet grade-level expectations
-
Supports family engagement activities that strengthen partnerships between home and school
At our school, Title I funding helps us focus on every child’s needs and provide the tools and support necessary for them to thrive academically and socially. We are committed to using these resources to ensure all students reach their fullest potential.
